Unable to create rake??

I've seen others through a google search also complaining about being locked out of making a rake. I see the scrappy rake but it requires a regular rake which I cannot find anywhere to make. Posts online suggest creating a new character or new world which still hasn't help, the option is just missing completely.

This seemed to happen as soon as I upgraded the blacksmith and unlocked the scrappy rake. How did they miss this??

so i started a new game new everything.. i duno how im supposed to get it..
what are the pre req to getting it to appear in my list of craftables

same issue!!! And is it man its driving me crazy. The recipe isn't at the work bench and now cant create the scrappy rake due to that.

Well since its a bug you can do this:
Create a new char lvl 1. Load up your game. Walk to your base.
Create a rake. store it in a box. Exit game. Load your normal char.
Get it from box. Use rake.
Be happy.... <3

Only downside is this doesn't work for most players. I tried doing this and the Rake recipe is still missing and I can only 'craft' a scrappy rake.

dont even need it for anything other than flatening the lands.. all of a sudden i dont care for it

you have to create the rake before getting the armorsmith and making the armor bench and charcoal kiln. might have to have the armor smith, I forget. I do know the recipe will disappear after you make the armor bench and kiln tho. It has to be made before those

Other claims to fix this, destroy the workbench and rebuild it. no idea if it works or not. A person in my group console commanded rakes in.

Rake is made on the workbench. 6 Wood Logs, 2 String, 2 Stone

yeah I know it bugs out. All I know is I have made it on several characters but only before the armorsmith, the armor bench and kiln go down. I have 3 characters at different levels in game and they all have been able to make the rake before that point in game.

Same issues here. I tried making new characters, picking up forge and armor bench, joining a different server with new character, starting a new base etc all to no avail
