The game is fun though but it doesn't run properly. I seem to get the same performance as someone with 4090/7800x3d for example but on slightly lower settings of course so the engine needs work. Once they fix that 60Hz bug that should change.
Plays like a Valheim that doesn't look like ass, has a world/lore and you can build a house within 20 min rather easily. This is a game to keep on your wishlist and see if the devs can get the performance up is what I think about it so far. Hopefully the devs don't bail on the project.
(the driver come out today), my real issue is that the game feels too bright/foggy and textures disappears making some parts of the map black with broken purple dots, it seems that the shadows for me are bugged i think.

Did the shader loading failed or something?
But you do you.
I thought that bt gpu just died
Hey I also had this issue same GPU, I think there are a few problems with AMD systems and this game atm. Lowering my graphics did help this go away but do this before you load in because it crashed for me.
I was crashing on latest 23.x drivers whenever I had set preset display settings above max performance, I couldn't get past the intro cinematic. If I loaded in with max performance past the intro but switching to a higher preset immediately crashed. I couldn't pinpoint which of the settings in the presets was the issue. Tried both with vsync on and off, and setting AMD chill to ensure not going over my monitors refresh rate, but kept crashing.
As per this thread I went ahead and reinstalled to 24.1.1 drivers and now it's working perfectly, I can put my settings to max and everything. AMD tweaks are currently off, VSYNC is off. Max quality settings a bit inconsistent on FPS so I set down to balanced and its running smoothly so far.
Enshrouded runs fine for about 1 hour to 1.5 hours and then out of no where the driver will crash and cause the game to CTD.
I know it is an old card now, but it shouldn't have any problems running the game. I do have a new card waiting to be put in, but I just found out it need 3 power plugs which means a huge overhaul of my rig to get that extra power to the new card.
Is the game crashing at Spires and Vaults for you? There's another thread where we all have Vega 64 and 56s. We all crash in the same areas.
