Be carefull
I have a i7-96ook, rtx3060 12gb, 64gb ram- this game was causing the graphics card to emit a weird noise, temps in 60 c range, using 8 gb of vram and power reading looked like it was having a heart attack and not a smooth line but very jittery

I have the i7-8700K with the RTX 2070 and the game runs smooth as silk while I have other programs running at the same time while was playing. You might want to have your system checked.

I have a 3060 6gb and no issues while playing friend. 16gb of ram also, so that puts me in something like 60% less of what you got but i had 0 issues.

That "noise" you're refering to is your GPU or sometimes PSU is called "coil whine". it can happen to new cards, old cards, it's just luck of the draw when it comes to the components they put inside them. This is not a problem with the game or drivers, it's a manufacturing issue but luckily very harmless. To stop your gpu making that noise, don't stress it too hard, run a frame limit cap. i.e. 60-120-144-165 fps cap.

This can happen to some games, and not to others. if it's your psu, that's easily solved by upgrading to a better/higher watt range on your psu. If it's your gpu, that sucks, you can try have it RMA'd with nvidia if you still got factory warranty, they'll most likely replace the board or gpu entirely.

60c is below normal temps for a GPU under load, ~74 is normal. If your GPU is making a weird noise, it's not the game's fault, it's something wrong with your GPU that the game made obvious.

It's not the GPU, I play plenty of High impact games maxed out, There's even a warning on launching the game-- it's just for amd well now you can add Nvidia to

Yes, because ALL games are identical and as such can be compared equally to each other. It's your GPU bro. You likely have a manufacturing defect in it like Karvan stated and Enshrouded just made it obvious. It happens, it happens to pretty much all of us at one time or another with one product or another.

I'm not the only one reporting this, geez read the forums.

Your computer has some serious hardware or software issues. I mean, I just played it, and it was a breeze.

To put it simply, coil whine occurs when the installed coils begin to vibrate due to the current flowing through them. Depending on the frequency, this can be heard as a whirring, whirring, buzzing or similar nasty noises.

Custom built PC?

Yeah, that's probably why. Random ♥♥♥♥ thrown together in a box that was never tested to work as a unit.

That's just luck of the draw, dood.

Played with 3080 rtx, 32 gb ram, 9600k i5 on high preset and it was smooth all the time, if only struggling a little in a couple locations that had a lot of architecture and/or fungus.

xD even custom build's if you do them right it shouldn't be a problem but too a lot of the people that bought video cards during the components shortage got shafted with cards that are defective or trash >.x
