my laptop didnt crash but after switching to 4k ultra in settings, the game crashed and now wont even boot up

I run cyberpunk 2077 ultra settings but I cant set this game to high detail.

What I found out was that every time I would set Fog to High in the demo, it would crash.

They do say that the game has had no AMD optimization at all and that it could cause issues. That said my 7900XTX can run it at max but only gets 40 fps at 4K, 60 if I turn down fog.

Consider this a test build because that's what it is.

Man is really trying to compare a high budget game from a AAA studio, that has been out for almost 4 years, to a game that hasn't even entered early access yet, from a studio nobody has even heard of, and wonders why it isn't as as optimised.... for real lol.

I changed the settings to highest and after about 10min half my screen started to blink. and i got a complete new computer so was kinda worried if something was wrong but have no problem running max settings on other games. my specs Ryzen 7 7800X3D,Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB,RAM 32GB

Hi, I had a problem that I set the maximum settings of the game, after which it stopped running. I tried deleting cloud saves, reinstalling the game - nothing helped. But literally just now I was able to fix it. To do this, you need to go to the steam library, right-click on the game icon -> management -> view local files. After that
, find the folder "enhrouded_local" open it with notepad and enter "Low" in the "preset" line

I've got the same blinking issue too, but only on the monitor that has HDR enabled. If I drag the game to the other monitor that doesn't support HDR it stops blinking. Maybe it fixes it if you disable HDR completely from the game and Windows, but I was too lazy to try that. I just drag the game window to the other monitor for a few minutes until it fixes itself and then drag it back to the main one.
