No compatible graphics device found : Troubleshooting Tips

Wanted to help gather some common knowledge about this error and any solutions our players have found.

I ran into this error when I first launched the game:

No compatible graphics device found

If you've seen this error, do yourself a favor and go looking for the game log file. It should be located in the game installation directory. The default directory appears to be:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Enshrouded Demo\

My log file for the game was located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Enshrouded Demo\enshrouded.log

Open this in a text editor like Sublime/Notepad++/Textpad/Notepad/Vim?/Emacs/etc and jump to the bottom of the file [ctrl + end]. Scroll back up the file, reading lines as you go, and look for the error that killed the game.

For me, the error looked something like this:

Failed to load library: VK_KHR_dynamic_rendering; quitting

This log file is overwritten on each attempt to run the game :/ I wish I'd saved the log generated from the failed launchs. I'm certain my log had different wording but the same general point: missing library/feature VK_KHR_dynamic_rendering.

That beaing said, I searched online for my graphics card plus this library:

nvidia geforce rtx 3080 ti VK_KHR_dynamic_rendering

Which translates to:

https://www.google.com/search?q=nvidia+geforce+rtx+3080+ti+VK_KHR_dynamic_rendering

And there I found my solution. The first entry was about the Vulcan Driver. I installed this driver and everything worked as it should. To note, I did take the option with the installer to perform a "clean install". But, otherwise, easy :)
