The Graphic Memory Is Too Small
My ROG gaming laptop has a Nvidia 3050 Ti 4gb chip, the game minimum says 6gb, I was hoping it would have worked, the gam wont even start. Could the developers make the game run on 4gb with reduced graphics for us people that only have 4gb graphic cards? would love to play the game but I'm not going to buy a new laptop.

the devils greatest trick was convincing people that NVIDIA graphics card equals gaming. like some others on here have said the 3050 is meant for light gaming ie games that look the same at 1080p as they do at 4k.

i love people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the 3050, but i've got zero problems running pretty much every game i've played at high settings. this is not to do with the 3050 in a laptop as a card being "not good enough", this is a bad optimization. period. if i didn't know any better, i'd say y'all sound like a bunch of AMD shills lol

I have an RTX 3050 with 4Gb of VRAM and 32Gb of RAM. I can play Cyberpunk in 4k on High graphics (edit: High and medium, not maxed out) settings (besides ray tracing) and literally every other game in my library on max settings with absolutely zero issues, and get a smooth framerate and experience, but i am not even allowed to open enshrouded. This is not a case of "the 3050 can't handle it" BS. This is a case of zero effort on optimization. When you make the minimum requirement for a graphics card A 1060 GTX OF ALL THINGS, and then proceed to make the minimum required VRAM 6Gb, that is an absolute slap to the face for a LOT of people, ESPECIALLY laptop owners. Not everybody has the money to own an RTX 4090 TI with 8Gb of VRAM and I know the developers are aware of that. If they don't fix these issues, they're going to be missing out on a ton of players. From the reviews i have been seeing already, this demo is in a very poorly optimized state and the developers aren't taking feedback because they think that releasing a demo is a present instead of a way to fix major issues with their game.

And yet the RTX 3050 can run cyberpunk at 4k on High settings without ray tracing and still get mid-high 30s fps. Thats crazy. It looks nothing like 1080p

As I said in a previous post. They do not account for shared VRAM and I am not sure why.

The update they released on the 6th was the "9th Update" It is now and will continue to need a minimum of 6Gb of VRAM.

There's trolling, then there is this. Claiming you can run Cyberpunk at 4k with maxed out settings. Actually hilarious. Even the 4080 struggles with 4k Cyberpunk without DLSS, we have tonnes of benchmarking stats and video proof of this to know you're talking BS.

Also, the 4090TI far exceeds 8GB of ram, it's got 24gb IIRC.
8GB of ram is literally the standard now. Look at the steam hardware survey, 60% of players have at least 8GB. You're in the minority by having less and if you want to play with that budget card, you're welcome to turn your settings down but there is no way you're running high textures with 4GB of VRAM in most modern games, textures are just big files.

I'm getting the same issue here
Mihavard Oct 9, 2023 @ 5:17am
the error will probably be corrected by the release of the game
Herald Studios Oct 9, 2023 @ 6:38am
the last discussion on this issue they claimed they would fix this issue today with the optimized demo, but now they are saying they already updated the demo. So I guess we're just out of luck.

this is a discussion about an issue a very large number of people are experiencing so that they can fix it and allow everyone to play their game, not just hardcore gamers with the only expense being a gaming computer. No one is complaining, but your comment also isn't helping the discussion.
