Why are there such lazy games with triangle foundations?
I've seen a lot of building games that don't have a triangle foundation and it's really confusing when you have certain ideas in your head that you really want to do, but you can't because there isn't that type of foundation. So, yes I know there's a certain way of building in a ‘staircase’ to look for a triangle/round aspect, but I really don't like this method, because it ends up making the building much wider than you want, whereas the triangle foundation avoids this. I would have really liked the triangle foundation in Enshrouded for me, that's really the big lack for Enshrouded. Any idea if this is planned?

The game is voxel, i guess there are no triangles in voxel games right? Its a grid, someone correct me if im wrong, thats why everything is blocks and squares.
The tricky bit is actually doing triangles and cubes at the same time... at least in 3D. Imagine trying to build something reasonable with tetrahedrons.

The other option is to only have 2D triangles, but then you'd have a bunch of people complaining about the lack of the third dimension... and even assuming you fixed that, you'd then have a bunch of people complaining about having hexagons, but not octagons... and of course the weirdos (like me) who would want dodecahedrons.

There actually are nice triangles .. you even have some in your tool. It is possible, but not for everything
Some building material also have good triangles, not all of them ..

Since I dont like the minecrafty stuff, pixels and everything .. not in this game anyway .. it kinda forces me to NOT use those materials.
Game has many nice builds, buildings, you can build some pretty things .. with something.

E.g. the castle that was shown in update 6 trailer, that was kinda very ugly to me and it doesnt fit.

I find it weird when you have one and same thing but you create multiple different outcomes.
Material A+B works
Material B+D doesnt work etc
Because these are square based voxel grids.

Not pre-built building pieces that snap together.

I doubt they will re-program the entire system.
