Baby Yaks won't upgrade to Adult

Have 4 tamed Adult Yaks. They began to have babies. The first few Baby Yaks gave me to the upgrade option - which I used and they became adults. But, now the new babies stay Babies and I cannot get an upgrade option. Anyone one else having this problem or have any info on this situation?

Think it has to do with the hit boxes of the animals. Though it seems you have your mouse on them, it's still not bringing the prompt up. Especially if there are other animals in the vicinity.

Try picking them up, place them in a more open spot and try upgrading them.

Im throwing those away, so annoying, the devs should put an option of no reproduction inside the base, i want to castrate every yak, sheep and annoying animal so i can go about my business without coming back to base to twice as many of them needing attention hehehe.

SGT - yeah I have enough milk from goats and deer so I pick all them up but one of each. I want my yaks to breed more because I want the fatty meat for stew but not getting anywhere is Baby Yaks won't grow up.
Ludwig - thanks for the idea . I tried it several times but it did not help.

How did You get your Yaks to reproduce? I have 8 with all the food and bedding that they and little ones could possibly need, and there is NO HANKY PANKY GOING ON FOR DAYS NOW!

I did nothing... just got two Yaks tamed and put them in a big fenced area with a barn and their beds and food. I doubt that it has anything to do with it but I had no babies to start with and then every time I was around base I went and petted them all??? And, now I get babies????
