I spend way to much time crafting them or getting the mats. Not here to make arrows all day just to play.

Drops in general needs a tweak, one feather but 10 magic ammo. Even in lvl 30 area.

It also doesn't help that even with all ranger specs, the iron arrow combined with a high level upgraded bow still don't do that much damage, so it takes multiple arrows to kill even normal mobs. The feather grind would still be a chore if arrows could one shot. The overall archery system seems fine, it's just the resource issue that needs improvement.

They could put some sort of fletcher in the game, another NPC or just something to give the hunter, it could diminish the materials needed to craft the same amount of arrows. And archery is great, sucks to make arrows, but its the only class without button mashing or autoaim, well other then wizards throwing infinite ♥♥♥♥♥ from afar.

Nah, i made a twig run and got 600 twigs, it was boring as hell and it didnt lasted that long in the highlands, after two giant wookie encounters, and i didnt even begin to craft feather arrows, hunting chickens already, preparing for the inevitable boredom.

Twigs are not the problem. Feathers are. There is no solution currently to farm feathers that doesn’t have severe diminishing returns. You need feathers for all mid to top level arrows.

I really do not understand the devs sitting on this when it is such a quick easy fix to change the 1 to a 4 in feather drops on the chickens. There is zero risk that having more arrows will be OP. lol It does not increase your DPS, as the bow (and stamina) is still the limiting factor.

One thing I've learned, through all these hours of frustration spent on freaken feathers, is that the best thing to do is simply chase the birds down and whack them with a sword. Arrows are only viable if you can one shot them. If you don't, they are gone, and you are just wasting arrows and more time.
I have the top hunter armor set (Eagle Eye) which gives a small boost to run speed, so I can always chase them down. Usually the first whack stuns them just enough to get in the second whack.

Just stick to scrap arrows. If you must use better then keep them for the special mobs.

Sitting at 200 arrows and enough feathers to craft another 300. Yea when it comes to feathers a slight buff might be welcome, but its not like impossible to sustain the usage, unless you are a not dedicated to ranged, which includes the right armor and buff food and a proper build plus to be to willing invest 30 mins to farm feathers once in a while.

Don't get me wrong, its perfectly fine to say its not for me. But to me, if you are willing to go the mile, Ranger is the most powerfull class as of now, imho.

Plenty of videos out there of Wizards one-shotting the Fell Wispwyvern boss.
Post a video of your hunter one-shotting any boss, and I'll buy you a beer. : )

Aight... just one question. Because i know those. Before or after the Acid Bite Nerf? If after... i gladly take that beer. Or a video for proof that a mage can still do that without broken Acid Bite. And just to add... with the correct options of gear etc. when you encounter the Wyvern.

No..just no.. Mages can do over 2000 damage per cast with aoe and it´s for free. Nothing matches that.

With a reload time of? 2 or 3 seconds? Don't get me wrong. I don't play a mage, so there might be something i might miss. But Ranger is way too underesimted in my eyes when it comes to damage. I can do 700 - 800 per sec (with crits), not even considering explosive arrows and the very best of endgame armor nor food.
