If the demo was meant to promote the game, for me it achieved the opposite, my interest dropped to a level that I probably won't touch the early access version for a few months... or ever.
Yes, it's just a demo, but launching a (limited time) demo that doesn't seem to work properly is a symptom of a sick industry. Remember the time when demo versions worked without problems and games have cost less in full release version than some early access versions cost nowadays?
I think my VRAM is at 8GB so that should not be the problem
I will try this and keep you updated. I also downloaded the newest AMD processor update. So we will see.
Driver version 584.84; mMy vaccines up-to-date; bills paid, etc ....And it gives the same message. Curioustly, after that, if I do a file checking, it always shows 100 and something files that need to be re-downloaded. I Did it, twice, the same ...
Plus I was getting microstutters very frequently. Some freezes that were lasting 2 - 3 seconds as well when I would spam grab items.
I know the devs are aware that the game isn't very well optimized at the moment (They've said as much in some of the threads here), but I'm definitely wary of the performance once it releases. Hopefully there will be another demo, as given the experience this time around I would not buy it, in the event that it continues to run like hot garbage.
