Go to the player support forum and leave the devs feedback. A ton of people have this problem, including me.

check out the reshades that address this issue at nexusmods.com. They're free and reasonably easy to install. You will lose about 5-10 fps though.

If night is too dark and day is too bright, your color scheme on your monitor / tv is set incorrectly. 100%

the nexus mods are only a partial fix

They take something that is 100% overblown and excessive, and tone it down to about 80% overblown and excessive.

Just give us video options to enable/disable. Its WIN/WIN for everyone

If you are ignorant like me those reshades could really mess things up, i tried and almost broke the graphics hehehe, well i guess i will wait for some sort of bloom option in the settings.
Nights are okay though, my only gripe is with the transition, man it gets dark, i mean pitch black, gotta burn that torch, cant see anything, its like im in a cave.
