Poison blades affect other weapons?

So maybe a dumb question but would this skill affect other poison weapons like the cleaver thing you get from the double green cleaver guys who also poison you? I guessing not but figured id ask anyway.

If not Im wondering why id ever use this weapon then cuz im assuming its poison chance is prob going to usually be pretty low. Are there any other skills that would enhance poison for other weapons if this is the case? Like a warrior skill more or less idk?

If I recall the perk says daggers specifically. So no, it will not affect weapons other than daggers. And even with daggers it only affects those with a chance to poison, not those that just due straight up poison damage (eg +5 poison).
