Building in the cold

Am I missing something or is there no way to stave off the cold in the albaneve summit?

I was hoping building an alter and then a fully enclosed structure with a heat source like a fireplace would stop the cold effect, but it appears that a heat source will only slightly increase frost resistance and add a few more minutes.

If anyone knows if it is possible to build a base in the snow and prevent the cold killing your character let me know.

Afaik flame level 8 + altar stops it its its building zone
