Gem of Bloodlust eludes me

The quest said that it will drop of elites above the shroud in the Summits. I've killed the dragonling twice, and a dozen ogres. Does it only drop in the Summits, or can i go after the Matron or Vukan Bruiser?

There is a Vukah ceremonial site (the actual name escapes me atm) just past the exit of the tunnel you can use to cross into the mountains from the Kindlewaste. Close to the east edge of the map.

There are three elites that spawn among the group there and you can find the gem you need as well as some others.

Might take a few runs or you may get on your first go.

Thanks. I keep forgetting there is an entrance to the Summits. Maybe it's The Pit or something, I can't recall exactly. I'll check it out tomorrow.

The Albaneve Summit Hollow Halls has 2 or 3 elites inside. They can drop the Bloodlust gem. Got 2 in 2 runs.

I have tried the suggestions, I got a couple of gems Hollow halls gave me the gem of Meteoric impact and the Vukah camp gave me the gem of cold composure.. But after about 10-15 tries at these places I still haven't found a Bloodlust I don't know what's going on, I even tried on other players servers.
Any other idea's ?

If you are in the right Vukah camp, the one with three berserkers (two outside and one in a small cave) then you should get it after a few runs. Some people say it takes several kills while others can get it in one run.

Only the berserkers drop it.

Read my post about Albaneve Summit Hollow Halls. Gem drops are location specific, If the same mob type is not in the specific location, it won't drop.

I found the description of the location in these other comments very confusing. For the record the location they are talking about is "Vukah Ceremoney Hill" (it has a flame shrine). I found 2 beserkers there. They dropped only Meteoric impact for me. On the other side of that small valley in an unnamed cave just up the hill from a frozen waterfall/river is where I found the third beserker. That one droped the Bloodlust gem for me. Hope that helps!
