How magical chest work ?

Hello,

My question is simple : what is the limit of magical chests ? How it's work ?

I mean if i stock in a base, do i've access to the ressources i stock in an other base ?
And I dont understand how to use block in construction mode. I toggle the option to have acces to chests, but it doesn't work, so i'm confuse.

You cannot access other resources from another base, the item stored in a magical chest are only accessible in the base the chest is.

Its easy to go from base to base though, make a main base and just carry what you have in mind to build, the secondary ones can become even betgter because there are no stupid NPCs roaming around, and now sleeping like hobos on the ground, you dont need space for the crafting stations too, those are nice to build anywhere.
