pretty annoying to watch stupid twitch streams just to get some items

dont watch them then . turn it on and do something else. you dont have to sit there and watch it , they dont give you a test over what was shown. i played another game while getting the drops this last time , and its not like you cant get the items by playing the game because you can.

While I also dislike fomo, though I couldn’t care less about stuff like skins or achievements, I find pretty silly to skip a good game just because of twitch drops.

and if you read the devs post the only difference is the color.
plus they have always said that twitch drops are able to be acquired during normal game play by everybody just different colors , besides they are just cosmetic and have no buff or stats what so ever. so if your FOMO is over colors then i guess your out of luck.

anyway if all it takes for you to skip on a game is the devs adding optional cosmetics you could just ignore thats a you problem dude.
I get wanting the cosmetics and not wanting to watch some random streams but that's kind of an overreaction..

i didnt even watch the last one , i was playing another game while i had it on my phone and muted , did it last half of the fluffy set. you dont have to sit there and watch it to get it.
-----also just thought about it...if someone else has it they can give it to you in MP so maybe just ask? i dont know you might get it that way

The first twitch drop they did was for the Exclusive Hollow Halls set (twitch purple colorway), and that set isn't available in game by normal means iirc. The backlash from the Steam community was so severe, that for the next two drop campaigns they have made the sets available in game via quests for those that don't want to watch on Twitch. I get the derision for Twitch drops as a concept / attitude in the gaming world as some believe it's a scummy practice by greedy FOMO devs. But Keen Games has repeatedly and consistently shown themselves to be worthy of community trust imo. It offers those who enjoy watching streamers on Twitch a way to get the drops, while not limiting those who don't.

Ofc you're in the right to hate it regardless and not play on that principle, but there's little need or reason to trash on someone for their own personal choices, the same way there's little reason for us to trash you for yours.

Edit: also while it's not ideal and doesn't undo a previous decision, there's plenty of players that are willing to trade others the twitch first twitch drop set, in a way to undo the FOMO that stained that first campaign.

People need their five mins i guess.. truthfully these people feel like leeches they need to be noticed and talked to about a game they clearly don't care for.. It's more or less waste of time.

sure go ahead and laugh if you want but there was no reason for them to go off on how many hours they have played and repeat themselves instead of just saying "ive tried that and it didnt work" would of been alot easier. plus they didnt state which blocks they were having problems with so it was a just question to ask...maybne if they had been clear about the problem in the first place that would of helped alot more! so i guess you can laugh if you want but its only getting you blocked...goodbye!
