Can not loot the fell dragon youngling's body!?

I've finally killed the dragon but I can't loot the body the get the head.
Am I missing something?

Climb onto the dragons back and try looting from the red bulge.

Yeh thanks I figured it out, man that's a stupid way to have to loot a boss after a hard and not so fun fight if you ask me.
