Alternatively, if they'd add being able to remove or place this type of debris to the new decay or overgrowth tool I'd be fine with that too.
There are a bunch of changes to the first biome, some towns have been reworked a lot, my biggest scare is if i log in to find my town erased because the same area has been reworked hehehe, oh well, perils of EA i guess.
Sadly, no, nothing in the patch notes. And I've acquired both of the new tools and no luck.
I wouldn't mind it as an option, but making it a non removable part of the base texture seems a bit silly to me. IMO, this is one of the better blocks in the game and I use it quite often as a primary for my builds. I've spent a significant amount of time on rebuilds going through and painstakingly removing all of this debris, only to find it back and unremovable.
I get it being an Early Access game, and honestly, I rarely buy anything but EA games these days, I just personally find this change a bit frustrating. I'm hoping it's just a minor bug that will be patched out soon... similar to Update 4 messing with the edge textures on blocks.
Yeah, I've seen more people reporting the same issue on Discord, apparently there's a fix in the works. Now I just need them to come up with a workaround for having my base at a new quest location :/.
