Why no walk toggle?
this is literally the easiest thing to implement. walking animations already exist... for controllers. they just need to add a single line of code to cap max speed with a key bind. why is this game still missing core mechanics while the devs are busy adding more animals, dances and other bs nobody cares about?

on a side note i really do enjoy the new lighting system. funny how people were coping about the lighting being fine before when even the devs seemed to have disagreed.:steammocking:

A walk toggle is not a core mechanic. . .

Maybe not, but it is already in the game, it is just denied to PC gamers.
I like walking in games.
I walked hundreds of hours in skyrim, witcher, odyssey etc .. its immersion.

Adding that is not a big deal

It is a core mechanic. arguably as important as sprinting or ads in first person shooters. not having a walk toggle is an arbitrary restriction for mkb users since controller users can already walk.
+1 walk toggle for pc keyboard is a must for immersion and roleplaying, yes - it is in the game with controller ... so should not too hard to implement for a keyboard button?

forget walk toggle, wheres autorun?
+1 for walk option, considering the Devs can do it and regularly do it in their Trailers/Teasers.

Yes, considering how often it is used in the videos, it's be nice to provide mouse and keyboard users with a way to "walk". Either a keybind that toggles between jog and walk, or a dynamic transition between walk and jogging speeds when we scroll our mouse wheel.
