Is the current level maximum at 35?

I reached level 35 in single-player (only way I ever play anyway) and level progression seems to have stopped completely. I no longer get an XP notification for any actions (killings, mining, etc.), and the XP progress bar is frozen at 45/6480. I received an achievement for reaching 35, so I guess that's the current cap? It's odd that I got 45 points toward level 36 and then suddenly everything has stopped.

I absolutely love this game. One of the best I've played in a long time, despite all the bugs and crashes I've encountered. Excited to see where it goes!
