Edit: durability dictates how long the torch will burn, for anyone who wasn't aware.
- Complete the early game quest to obtain a sword that provides light around you.
- Get from a silver chest from lvl 18 ~ 21 a ring that illuminates a large area around you while worn.
- Use the wisp in the flask to lighten up the area around you for 5 minutes.
similar to what the ring does, but obtainable sooner and doesn't consume the ring slot
Personally i wear the ring and can't be bothered to take it off cause i love that quality of life upgrade
Tier 1: 15ft illumination in a 180 degree facing arc
Tier 2: 30ft illumination in a 180 degree facing arc
This works with any torch that provides warmth when held (or stood next to, if dropped). I use a regular torch, and drop it next to me when mining; I don't have to care if it's day or night, and if it's deeper into a cave, I can still see... and when I pause because I ran out of stamina, I sit down to gain some rested (which immediately increases my maximum stamina and my recharge rate, if I was out of rested when I sat down). 30 seconds later, I've got 3 minutes of rested and nearly 3 rings of stamina to chop more (insert mineral here).
