Iron Ore Locations????

Is ALL the blasted Iron Ore now in the shroud? The one desert cave I use to get iron at is now filled with useless Lapis. :/ Where can I get Iron Ore now that is NOT in the shroud?

No, iron ore can be found in the kindlewastes first, it has a lot on the new biome because you need it to make steel too.
You only need the new armor in some areas way up in the new map, so go slow, if you reach some hypothermia bar just go back until you have the armor, you can use food and a buff you get to freeze slower, you get more time, like the shroud, but its risky.

A cave with lot of Iron is in Kindlewaste area, from East Lapis go to north-east direction. There is also a hidden chest inside behind some rubble.
No shroud and no enemies.

the biggest iron mine is just a tower/ air ride ghost glide away.
yes its in the shroud but in easy to escape shroud. once you blue it.
no actually enemys there ether.. the second biggest iron mine....

is actual in the new map and is not in the shroud and can also be gotten to after you unlock the ability to go to the summits....
but can only be mined during the day you can't see other wise... because a big old fat non living skeletor wyvern is blocking it.....

they also redid some area and map parts so farm areas have def changed...
so getting good loot does require relearning

Has this cave been changed? I found a cave there with spiders and a chest, and one with a tin node, but I can't find iron ore anywhere in kindlewastes at all.. :(

Is there some in the shroud somewhere? I don't care where it is at this point.. I just want to find some.

EDIT: Found some! In the shroud, at Ridgeback Mine. 3 nodes around a Thunderbrute, and 1 node next to a shroud root thing.
