How many hours long is gameplay in it's current build as of 3rd April 2025 and what is the projection for the final 1.0 release?

I've been playin' on "Hard" (so I die quite a bit, which slows down progress), and I've got about 100 hours on current build. I've got one last biome to get thru...

No idea about the rest.
Easily gotten my moneys worth x that when it reachs 1.0.

Peoples reviews also gives you a rough idea of how much gameplay they got out of the game.
One of the things you can do in the game is build a base, or bases. That's a totally open ended project, and the amount of time each player spends on that will vary all over the roadmap. I would easily say half the time I've spend playing was either base building, or going into the world to harvest materials for base building.

246 hours played by the way, since it launched.

I did a full playthrough recently. About 100 hours.
I have about 110 hours right now but am pushing through with help from a friend that has already finished the current content, and I just now reached the 4th biome of 6 available right now.
And I didn't even build that much yet.

It really depends on how you will play it and what will you do .. only the lore and story or also build etc.?
I started new game on super easy, doing all the lore with a bit of building, over 100 hours, not even half way thru.

1.0 around Q2/26

Yeah, it really depends on how you play the game, what you want to do in it. I've read like 30-40 hours if you're just trying to get through it to the end. I like to experience the whole world.

I'm on my first play and have 360+ hours so far. I've done all the main quest lines except the last 2 Hollow Halls. Some people consider defeating the current final boss as the end of the game, but there is so much more than that in the game. I think I have one more shroud root to eradicate and then I'll have all the steam achievements. I've explored most of the current map but still missing some minor quest unlocks. I also do unnecessary things, like a Hall of Armors where I have every craftable armor set on display. Still working on getting a last few pieces for the lootable armors. I've spent too many hours building, and rebuilding. In short, it's a very immersive world and you can get many, many hours out of it if that's the way you play.
Cheers all. I picked it up for 3rd time and decided to keep it as it seems to run better now. Still feels like the character is animated in 30fps vs the rest of the world and UI still needs QoL attention but I'm liking it

Naked character looks weird, had insane problems with this too.
But once you unlock some better armors with physics, i dont even see it anymore.

There might be also some performance problems, its not uncommon to have 100 fps but it feels like 30 in games in general

I found the map to scroll like it's running at 10fps. That's annoying.
