Hi Everyone a question regarding mycelium
Is it at all possible to remove the shroud say, from the initial base location, by mining out and getting rid of all of the mycelium and mushroom growth or is it there permanently? I've noticed after destroying the gaseous mushrooms it does thin out the shroud so I was just wondering??? (great game by the way, total time sink over 100 hours in and have just hit the Mountain biome) Thanks for the help........

No, if you build your base near a shroud spot that spot will be red/blocked for building, i really dont know why they did that, i think it was to avoid people cleaning a path through the shroud since you can use 8 altars and upgrade those to cover more area.

That's a shame oh well i guess i'll just have to build a wall around it lol !!!
