I assume the red line is an indicator that the mountains around the edges reflect the fact that the world stops there. And yes, I know you can walk around in it and the base I'm currently working has its available building area truncated because of the red line.
I suspect the existence of those mountains and building objects are prettier to see from below instead of blank space.
so i two would like to take full advantage of the 160 x160x 160 spaces.
some of there a just get random butt shroud spots even building in midair no build zones land...
I hit can't build spots all the time...
even when all the random infected land spots are mined out...
even though the game says that spaces is shroud protected...
it would be nice if the devs put a setting in that made every part of the flame area as build-able, i usually choose blank spots with no content or content place holders.
if you are in the solo game. after a certain point you don't need some of the open
large open areas... and its not like you can't build your own mountain structure..
for example in the ice mounatins there is a literally huge no content but ice 160x 160 x 160 base area ......
as to the map it is currently incomplete version so that red line is early access limitation
so far i discovered you can have 2 working bases...
so that 2 areas of 160x160x160 which is alot of 4 meter blocks
and the game build sky limit is as high as the top of 1 of the trees...
I doo agree that the base building does need to be adjusted a bit....
