My Obsidian is gone

I was redesigning my storage room, and I realized my chest full of obsidian is gone. That was a sad move :-( Couldn,t we get iron ore or something else for it. just deleted....

At moment there is nothing you can do with the obsidian, the crafing recipe for black cauldron also doesn't require obsidian now.
So, maybe they removed it forever from the game, or we could get something new with mountains biome....., the future will show.

Why the heck, they make obsidian mineable and then remove the material? This is not logical !!

its early access, you are better of not expecting anything you have done thus far to even count in any way whatsoever.
Let alone a item that literately did nothing.

It was never meant to be in the areas that it spawned in. It'll return in the upcoming Mountain Biome update where it'll actually have a use.
