Dang! That's one big marker for a bug, oh well.
So you feel like there's still a cyclops right?
The feeling I've got is that there is still a chest somewhere in that god forsaken cave That I've missed.
that's close enough. You get what i am saying BASICALLY. you feel like there IS A THING you missed and you want to find that thing. We're on the same page now.
what I'm saying is that they should just make a thing so that you can feel like you found it. I think it should be a cyclops you think it should be a chest...but we agree it should be something.
it's a quest right? nobody sets out on a quest to be denied a way to complete it, there would be no point. But it turns out the REAL quest is a quest for the Devs to add the correct quest marker for quest completion so that the quest is just completed...but how does that help us? Yes, the question mark will go away but I think it would feel kinda empty.
so maybe the devs could add a new cyclops or a new chest or both and put the ending quest marker on whatever it is and then EVERYBODY wins.
exactly. You get it. I have worked in game design, every time something goes wrong you have two problems the first is the screw up whatever that was but the second is that it makes people stop feeling happy about whatever that was (unless it's a cool bug, you never fix those they're fun). so it's two problems really, Fix the bug and restore the joy. Not so easy to do both with a single stroke.
