How big is the current map
I'm still new to the game and was wondering how big the current map is (i just entered in the Revelwood area). Everything online says the map is 24 km and might be 72 km when the game reaches 1.0. i was just wondering with the addition of the Albaneve Summits, is the current map size still 24 km? :lightbringer:

Loving the game so far and amazed how well it runs on my old PC

no idea about km but about 60% of the final map is playable by now. this is purely overworld areas that are not accessable as of yet. underground biomes and dungeons are not included in this % value.

the map does NOT extend its playable area all the way to the edges shown on the mapscreen. dont be fooled by that. alot of that will remain inaccessable for good and is only there for immersion so you dont run into a invisble map edge wall bethesda style.

even at 60% that is still a lot to explore and nice take on the invisible map edge

Have they confirmed the 60% thing? I remember reading somewhere that the current map was about 25%, but I could be misremembering...
