Farmer keep asking for a goat, but...

So the farmer was asking for a yak for a long time and I haven't even seen a yak in the game so I just ignored her.

We ended up getting some goats and suddenly she's very happy that we got her some yaks. Now she is asking for goats...

She doesn't seem to be living in reality, but we got fae deer bait unlocked after getting our goats, so I assume by "goat" she means "fae deer"? It's confusing.

Yaks are only in the newest northern zone. I think she's been talking about wanting a pet Yak since that update. She'll give you a quest to tame some goats and then later on when you progress to that northern zone you'll get a quest to tame some yaks as you need the mats they provide for stuff.

She mentions that Yak as it's needed for progression into the new area (Cold armor crafting).

Hopefully it's changed to mention them after the others, it's confusing for new players.

Frizzy goats and regular goats are different hence why she maybe asking.
They do use the same food.
