hello guys,

Okay so I have quest in the north but I could't do it because I will die of freezing.

This is what I did.

I gather all materials so I can craft the following

1. New hunter set that have +4 frost resistance
2. Ring of frost +2 frost resist
3. Pocket heater +2 frost resist
4. Ice Protection Potion- it give +1 protection per level so I am currently lvl 30 =30 protection( not sure if this help )
5. Beef stew = +3 frost resist

After gathering all the materials to get all this stuff hoping to help me. why do I still
get that bar icon I get frost ?

I saw someone doesn't even have all the items I have and they have that protection resist from being frozen.

Is this normal or what ?

And Holy crap I login today and I got like 15 goats baby in my barn just overnight that I have to start slaughtering them and they eat a lot of food ..bug or normal ?

i heard that you have to kill some peacefull animal in order to craft something that gives you massive frost ressistance

Frost works like Shroud, you will never totally eliminate it (unless you are within the build area of a maxed altar) you will just extend the time you can stay above the frost line.

With all the +frost resist items you have you should be able to do any quest you need too. Once you craft a set of the lvl 33 armor you will gain a huge bump in your frost timer.

And one option is to place an altar when you frost timer is getting low, port out and refresh it, then port back and carry on.

just keep some stones or altar with you as you can not find stones on that area

Thank you guys for all the reply. I thought it will disappear because I saw someone in YT that lost that freezing bar instead he/she have icon that resist the cold

flame altar lvl 8 will remove the frost effect maybe

i think its yaks???? theres a taming quest with the farmer and she says something about it

Op is already pretty much at the cap, wouldn't have heard of any such drop.
Any set of Mountain tier armor, 2x food, 2x rings, heater and a heatsource.
Ice pot is for ice dmg afaik, not for cold.
