Why does the game forbid you from planting yuccas close to each other?
Is it because of the soil?
So far I haven't had any problems with plants and this is the first time I've seen this at my little farm.

Afaik every plant/tree can be planted in every type of soil. Higher tier soil gives faster yield. But every plant/tree needs some "free space" around it. Smaller plants only a bit, bigger ones likes trees quite a bit more. The game tells you (in red) if your next seedling is too close to the last one (or some other obstacle).

I know that, but did it need to be so spaced out?

Thanks for the detailed reply! But I still think they overdo it a bit with the spacing between the Yucca seeds.
