Farming issues
So i made a lovely barn for my animals with stables but they block movement of me the npcs and each other we need them to be more like plants able to brush aside from player npc and each other instead of being moving road blocks it makes them unable to eat and sleep properly when in closed spaces should not be such an issue. As a side note i recomend makeing 1 or 2 nights after both sleeping and being fed lead to resource regen and allow us to determine how many are spawned by how many beds are laid also a flavor would be each bed haveing a sleep radius and handle 3 to 5 animals so they dont havr to stack on individual beds

The pathing for all friendly npcs, including animals is just awful, for the Villages/Crafters you can disable their roaming thankfully, but for Animals, you have to keep them in a big enclosed room with lots of room for their beds so they don't get stuck between their bed and a wall and keep the food in the center as they need a lot of space to eat too.

As much sense as it makes to create a fenced in area for them to roam about, due to the pathing issues, it's currently best to keep em locked up tight. As they can scale even tall prison fences via their clipping. If you feel bad for keeping them locked up in a room, feel free to give them windows to look out of lol.

By far the best method I've found is to hollow out the ground, and use that. If you want it to look good then put some walls around the sides.

So far I haven't lost a single one.

I blocked my farm animals in with foundation blocks and then copper fence on that with a roof overhead. SO far none have gotten out. I don't have a copper gate recipe. SO I put in a regular door but they can open the door, so I just removed it and put in a copper gate piece and just jump in when I need to collect or feed and pet them.
