Villagers AI
Villager movement is horrible, it couldn't be made worse, is there any option to disable it? I prefer them when they don't move. Maybe you should ask the Soulmask developers how to do it.

Doesn't setting their roaming range to 0 keep them from moving

Exactly. If that's what you want. Personally, I wonder if it wouldn't work better if they had daily routines for the most part. For example, the farmers could go to each of the fields and keep them up. The blacksmith could make the rounds between smelter and work tables (tools?). The hunter could roam around (inside) the walls of the base catching food for the farm animals and pets. This would leave only the non-crafting NPC's wandering around freely, and maybe they could just have some off-limit areas they can't go. One of mine was leaving the base through a side door from time to time. Though nothing came in (he always left the door open), it's the role playing thought that counts.

The problem is that in this game those mechanics don't exist, for example in soulmask it makes more sense, but here? None. They move only to annoy and block, and sometimes you don't even know where they are when you need them.

Yea I recommend not letting them wander as their AI for wandering is terrible. (Set their roaming range to 0 when summoning them via the Staff)

You can make tables, chairs and benches for them to sit at they'll sit there then immediately stand up and go back to aimless wandering lol.

Rescuing the Ai and placing them in your base feels more akin to Will Smith in "I am Legend" with setting up mannequins at blockbuster video.
