Report a translation problem
Right after I started I tried to hit a box right in front of me multiple times, wondering why nothing happens, until I realised the shots go towards a bunny at the edge of my screen.
We also died during boss fights because of that. Tried to shoot an explosive barrel but projectiles went to nearby enemies instead.
I agree that there needs to be an option to turn it off.
If it actually does automatic target locking or switching locked targets then send a bug report, haven't experienced that yet. Or check if your tab key works properly.
The way wands automatically prioritise targets is an absolute mess. You can shoot something directly in front of you a couple times with a wand and then it will randomly decide to switch to an enemy that's much farther away, or completely out of range. Wands randomly deciding to auto-target something that's not even in range is a huge problem and shouldn't happen in the first place.
Sometimes a wand chooses to switch to a new target when the one you've been shooting five or six times in a row will die with just one more hit... but no, that other enemy is suddenly more important to the wand.
The fix is simple - the wand should have a crosshair or dot or something similar to the bow's aim point and be able to be fired where you are aiming instead of auto locking on enemies. If that needs to be a toggle then fine, let me toggle auto aim and aim assist OFF.
The problem with that is, you RMB is used for blocking, unfortunately, U can't manually AND block on the wand, just like you can't with staffs and bows...its a design fault...also game was made for controllers as well...
It's especially egregious in melee. Attacking forces your character to jump to the nearest target. There is no way to simply stand still and attack in the direction you're pointing. You can't control your own footing or manage distance. If you're in a narrow hallway that forces a pack of Fell to come at you single file, and you start attacking, you stand a very good chance of your character charge out from the hallway and getting itself massacred.
The number of times I've tried to shoot at a boss and it (especially the wand) aims at some random enemy I can't even see off the screen somewhere.
Super annoying.
While we're at it, could we get the ability to move the camera. FoV can only help so much when the camera is just too close to the character.
I've been having wand projectiles and powder bombs fly off screen at enemies I can't even see, and even my projectile spells like fireball and ice bolt have been suddenly flying off to hit enemies nowhere near where I was aiming.
This has been possible for some time.
Have fun!
Wait, what? Is it possible with controller, or only mouse+keyboard?
Have been struggle with this since i start play
I use mouse so i wanna aim with my mouse
Yep, a few toggle options in the menu, or a key we can press to shut it of while playing, is all we need.
Honestly there have been complaints since day one about this and there's no good reason why they have not addressed it yet.
Someone else will have to answer that question, as I don't even own a controller, sorry.
As always, have fun!
