Where do I find Hazlenuts?

Seriously. I've cut down trees, picked up a bunch of plants and I somehow randomly got like 2 or 3 hazlenuts. I need way way more to feed the bunnies.

A lot around Ancient Spire - Revelwood and Ancient Bridge.

They popped in you inventory cause you cut down a random Hazelnut tree.

They grow on small trees in the area mentioned by Bboar, you don't need ro cut the trees, you can walk up to them and pick them off the tree.

I'm surprised that you've got problems with this. I've got almost a whole medium box filled up with them. If you something between shrubs and small trees, it's almost certain you can find them over their. Just stand in front of them and harvest.

They look like regular trees, but you can see the nuts in them.

I'm using an old character in a world I created recently. I thought the amount of map revealed was world based not character based. So my character is around level 13 and thus have probably mostly skipped the areas with hazlenut trees because the last time I played, there were no hazlenuts in teh game.
