Any tips on how to get yak bait?

I did all the pet Qs built myself a nice little zoo with a mostly natural habitat for the animals etc.
But I still can't make yak bait. Although the farmer npc keeps asking for a little yak pet.
So any tips?

you actually need to complete the tower before you get the recipe :)

I finally got the red chicken bait by picking up wheat grains (I have unlocked the tower, I dont know if thats needed though)).

You have to complete the Spire & then the Farmer (or Her Assistant) should have the bait recipe & a quest for a Yak

But you cant finish the spire without the best glider , and for the best glider you need wool right?

If you mean the ghost glider, you just find it in a chest from an Alchemist quest. You can craft another once you find it, but it doesn't require wool to craft, just shroud wood, fabric, enshrouded oil, sulfur and string.

you can finish it with any glider, there is uplift in the middle of room and you can jump on some things to start from higher.

best glider sure makes it easier especially if you do not have double jump and uplift skills.

Whos crazy to go without double jump in this game? Its so low on the skill tree too.

I have completed Albaneve Summits tower.
The yak bait DID NOT unlock for me.
Going to go kill a yak now to test if that does it. Maybe it requires both tower + yak murder?
