Inventory Difficulties
Maybe I am still too early into the game, but inventory management feels like it is sucking up all my time. Also, having to put all the necessary items for crafting in my bag is really frustrating, would be much better (for me) if it would pull from storage.

The previous update even added an earlier tier of magic chests that unlocks with the very first sleeper. Which is extremely early. In fact, it's so early that the crafting cost of 15 shroud spores is significant.

Magic chests solve most of those issues.

My problem with inventory management isn't with that, it's when I bring stuff back to my main base and have to dump it into chests. That gets tedious when you have a large variety of different items to deposit and you want to try keeping things semi-organised.

yeah its never too early items should be stacks of 50 or 1000 not 20 it adds up and you have to craft multiple chests.
yeah that's what is really pissing me off. Everything is great and the game feels much better than release..but I dont know why items are needed in inventory to craft. And even if you pin the recipe it doesn't even highlight or mark the item...its crazy.

Was playing nightingale recently, and one thing I really liked about that was that items seem to have no stack limit. If you have 2 pieces of wood, or 2000, it's still just one stack. It makes organizing the chests significantly easier

I believe you can edit stack size with a slider in your 'edit' world options.

Also there is the unload all, unload matched (the arrows at the bottom) when you open up a chest.

I agree, of course there's the magic chest as other mentionned, but our inventory still gets cluttered with materials over the course of an adventure and then you have no choice but to sort everything into chests.

I feel like there's room for improvements and quality of life features here. When opening a chest it would be nice to be able to select filters when clicking on the "stash all" button, e.g. food, materials, terraforming materials, construction materials... etc...

Also dirt blocks, wooden blocks, stone blocks and so on shouldn't go directly into inventory. IMO these should just be accessible from anywhere without taking space in inventory.

They just need to make it like grounded where if you stand within range or your chests you can hit one button and it will automatically put everything in your inventory into the chest with the same items.

It could be lore based on magic, a device container you build that 'sorts' and distributes to other nearby magic containers that is compatible.
