Obtaining "How to craft Hardened Leather" & "Bugged Poison Steel Arrows"

As the title states.

Does anyone know how to unlock the "hardened leather" crafting skill at the huntress ?

Also does anyone else have a bug with the poisoned steel arrows where if you want to craft some the requirement for the poisoned arrows ARE poisoned arrows in the craft menu. I guess it should have been "steel arrows".

Same. For some weird reason it got unlocked after I finished the Wall Tapestry Quest and crafted some Mauvein. Even you don't need this to craft the hardened leather. I was so confused what exactly unlocks the hardened leather, that I played the whole thing again with another char in another world.
Still not sure if it was the mauvein or the quest, it's a mystery.

As I already said, the Mauvein unlocks it ^^ You need the quest to unlock Mauvein though.

i 100% found out what it is. you need both halves of the alchemist thing, you build a frame from the alchemist and put both halves in it. once you do that it unlocks hardened leather :D

Guess you need both the quest and having picked up Mauveine then, in case you looted some from the world before unlocking the recipe. I had the quest completed but no Hardened Leather recipe. Decided to try unlocking violet fabric next while figuring out how to get the leather and when I picked up the Mauveine both unlocked.

Complete the Alchemical Wisdom quest. Once I posted the Showcase and filled it, I got a pop-up for the Greater Antidote discovery, but nothing (no pop-up) for Hardened Leather (that is now in my Hunter > Resources section).

Combined them, got the recipes... Still have quest active saying to combine them. Glitched.

To unlock it you need to put up the Alchemist Showcase and putt inn the missing pices of it :)

Just do all the following quests

Almanac of Plants and Seeds for the Farmer
Scientific Instruments for a Laboratory for the Alchemist
Alchemic Wisdom for the Alchemist

When you unluck purple Fabric you also unlock Hardened Leather :) at least thats how i got it

for me the hardened leather craft activated when getting hardened leather as drop from the mini boss.
