I managed without too much trouble, but I also changed the difficulty settings for taming so I don't lose progress every time it got scared. Since with the layout of the tower, it's extremely easy to spook after you've successfully pet it, resetting all progress.
Does anyone know if this is linked to difficulty setting as some people are bragging how easy but others are having similar problems as myself?
I had a way easier time with the dog in the scavenger camp than I did with the cat in the alchemist tower. I just snuck around stuff and kept throwing food. I'm on normal difficulty. What I'm seeing is it's just luck of the npc pathing. :(
I believe there is a control for making taming easier in settings; others have mentioned it. But I am using the default setting. . .
LOL,
Thanks for info.
Yes this is sometimes a bit difficult inside the narrow tower but with a little bit of patience and planning it's possible.
I found some fairly easily in Revelwood. Took them home and immediately put them in the garden beds to make seeds. Plant, reseed half, repeat. I'm now up to a sizable crop of nettle on my own farm.
