Ring of the Ancients still available?

I have been farming the top tower chest, at the Sun temple, in the SE corner of the map. So far no ring. Is it still in the game?

I have farmed it in the Ornate Gold chest found where my marker is in the Kindle wastes.

I found this the other day , but was not from the tower, it was in the kindlewaste in a small one level tomb ( the one with the gate and the scythe weapon guy behind it ) in the chest. sorry i forget the name to help you further but at least its still in game :)

Yeah, I've got 600 hours over 6 different characters with some decent chest farming, and have never seen that ring outside of the public resource world. Same with Ritual Tempest wand. Have also never seen Gemini ring, but have buckets of Ring of Endless Life.

dont waste your time. your efforts will be in vain anyway. once the level cap raises all current gear will become obsolete and the chest farming begins fully anew unless the devs finally fix thier horrible rng chest loot > all principle as it destroys any point in exploring or crafting currently.

That makes no sense. If chest loot is good, then you explore to find the chests. Also, "loot" is not the only reason to explore. And the crafting system is fine. Loot weapons are better than crafted weapons, but armor is very comparable and can be mixed for the desired stats. And we have NO way to craft a ring, so those have to be found. And we don't find high end food as loot, so that has to be crafted. All around a decent system.

There are two more lvl 25 Gold Chests just South of the Kindle Wastes Tower, where you can farm the ring from. I just spent about 30 min there farming and got one.

I got it twice from the Bosses at that Sun Temple so i guess that the chance is higher with Bosses to drop it than from Chests and i got the Ring of the burning light too from a Boss!

No ring in 2-3h of farm in those chests.. a pain and no ring.. I hope there will be a craft for this in the next update. Random loots and farming is not a pleasure.

I feel your pain. I wasted an entire weekend farming the Sun Temple and never got a single drop of that ring. OTOH, a quick visit to a Public Resource World and now I have two. :-)
