I love the game, but it can be frustating

For instance. I went and got the Spindle the Hunter needed and now I want her to make Linen. But wait... she cannot use the Spindle that I went and got because she needs fossilized bone? WTF? Where am I supposed to find that? It's like everything you need to craft has one ingredient that you cannot find and so you have to go searching the web for how to find it, sigh...

*correction* I didn't really find the Spindle. I thought I did, but when I went back there, I actually found it and so now can craft linen, which is so important for armor upgrades.

Time to explore the map more and rely less on already posted information to find what you are looking for.

Honestly you can either explore the map and discover things yourself or just google it if your impatient which kinda takes the fun out of exploration but I get some people just wanna know where stuff is straight away, regarding the bone stuff it’s a giant skeleton of a creature you can’t really miss it just use the pickaxe on that

I feel like some of this stuff could be more clear on where to find it; make it a quest or something. I've been pretty good about grabbing anything that looks new lying around the world, but some stuff has had me scratching my head. I just gained the ability to make beehives and it wants straw. I had no idea it was the stuff that looked like regular grass. Unlocking a new crafting option only to have a new requirement that you had no idea existed can be really annoying.

The game needs more basic direction.. not find this.. somewhere.

You will find near Umber Hollow, in the savanna area of the map.
Look for the huge dinosaur type bones that protrude from the ground, they are massive you cant miss them.
Just mine them with your pickaxe.

In my playstyle it's mostly the other way round. I go exploring, mine a bit here and there, and a lot of blueprints and recipes get unlocked. I can't remember a single situation where I wanted to build something and didn't have the mats.

I leveled up to 25 in about 2 weeks of playing this game, once you hit that level there's nothing else to look forward to. So don't be in such a hurry.

If it helps any, you'll find more fossilised Bone then you can use in the 'Highlands'. Once you start exploring that area, just open up the map and you'll see the gigantic skeletal remains that you might not recognise standing underneath them. Then just grab your pick.

What about exploring and building? also the story is fun. I'd rather do all that at 25 over lvl 4..

I'm not up to that yet struggling with the terrible timers honestly at level 4.. i absolutely hate timers in games.

The desert area has these giant bone like stuff, you can mine it and get fossilised bone.
