Weapon upgrade
So if I found a bow at level 5, can I upgrade as I progress? Like can I upgrade it to level 25?

The level of your weapon loot depends on the area you're in. Wailing Blade is to pick up in a lvl 3 area, and it will always be a lvl 3 weapon there, regardless your own lvl. You can't find it as a lvl 25 weapon, but there are some similar looking weapons to find on higher levels.
You'll find a lot of different weapons on your way through the game, only a very few weapons are fixed guaranteed drops, everything else depends on RNG. You'll find legendary weapons from lvl 3, up to lvl 25, don't worry. But all weapon levels depend only on the area level, never on your char's level.
Of course, like in all games, when you're playing a melee char, you'll find mostly wands and sorcerer staffs, but as soon as you switch to a mage , you'll get melee weapons,

No, you can only upgrade it the number of times it has upgrade slots.

Depending on the weapons quality, you can upgrade it a few levels, but not until lvl 25.
If it is a legendary (golden) weapon, you can upgrade it 5 times, a green weapon only 2 times.
Click on the weapon in your inventory, to see more informations what the upgrades give in detail, some will add other damage types, some will increase the defense, or maybe add even a live steal to the weapon.

legendary doesn't change with upgrades, it's already legendary, or it isn't. you can't make it one.

Im not advocating for it, just saying it would be neat, with respawning chests there is really no reason for it.

yeah, true. but i am actually fine without stuff like e.g. enchantments or such. weapon transmog would be nice eventually, but i also don't mind. the variety so far is fine imo.

well, i'm off to play some more. will stream more of it tomorrow (or rather later today).
have a good one

I was jsut thinking it would be nice to have weapon transmog at least type for type, the one that really is confusing to me though, why no great swords?
Tryyton Jul 5, 2024 @ 4:18pm
no sure about great swords really, since you find 2-handed maces and axes too... seems weird not to have big swords. but...they might be added i guess.
