Placeable Fall Damage Prevention

Like many others, I took to the Mire and built myself a treehouse. However, gliding everywhere (particularly between levels) gets tedious and can end in tragedy if you don't time the glide and cancel correctly.

I was considering that it would be very convenient to be able to place something that prevents fall damage when landing on it (either blocks or furniture, not unlike the endless dumpsters in Dying Light or hay in Assassin's Creed. Kind of niche, I admit, but it would a fairly straightforward quality-of-life improvement.
