However i didn't try it, because i dislike absolutely unrealistic buildings like flying bases or sky screws and i knew before, if i could even just fly over half the map it basically would ruin my game experience. Taking away the whole exploring part of the game, making placing flame altars in reasonable spots complete obsolete. Already noticed with the better gliders that gliding even just from the spires is already OP (and i don't even have skilled updraft) and somehow redundant with the fasttravel.
dont forget better gliders will come in the future and allow you to fly farther and faster.
there is a height build limit where everything turns red and you hit the skybox limit.
yours isnt even that high yet.
example of beeing right next to where the skybox turns red (no build zone you cannot get past)

i didnt build much anymore as they might make it so floating structures break without ground contact in the future.
Then decided to move my entire base (including my massive garden) into the sky
not a reason to necro a 1 year old thread. useing guides kills fixed open world games. what a suprise. true for all of these.
Aw man, I wish I could get that high!
It's exploring on the first run. It's commuting every time after that. If you could fly to work every day, you would.
But having a flying castle is cool.
