eagle eye lv 25 gloves

Is rng just playing with me or is there a higher probability of getting these gloves at one location vs another. I'm not new to the game and have acquired multiples of the paladin and elder sets, as well as many parts of the eagle eye set....but never the gloves. I have run all the new dungeons too. Maybe I just need to do the altar log in and out bit until I get them, i've been reluctant to do it.

Good question. In my first play through I got all the Eagle Eye armor pieces without too much trouble, getting most of the set prior to reaching level 25. So far this second play through I have not gotten even one piece of the Eagle Eye set, and I've been level 25 for more than a week now. I have almost the full Paladin set, and half of both the warrior and caster sets. I was just starting to wonder the same thing. Was drop rate of Eagle Eye changed in the update?

My rng has given me many of the other pieces, just not the gloves...until today. Figures I would post this and got the gloves finally. Having said that, I have probably deleted numerous chest and boots for eagle eye, but the pants and head pieces were the harder to get for some reason. I got a lot more piece drops from the newer random location gold boxes than I did from the fixed ones like the sun temple. When I leave the sun temple there is a box off to the left from there that you have to run tot he left and then glide and drop down by some ruins. It seemed to drop a lot of set pieces. I stumbled upon it after finding a box in the middle of nowhere and figured they must have added more then I was aware of.

I seem to have the best luck getting armor sets for whatever class I am not playing at the moment. I was playing mostly a bow class and had full sets for the mage and melee classes twice over before I had 3 pieces of the eagle eye set. I got frustrated and reset my skill points to a full melee build and got the remaining eagle eye pieces I needed from the next ten gold chests I opened. It may just be my own bad luck, but it would not be the first game I have played that seems to do this.
