Long hair cover art not in game.

so it is clear in the future the avatars will get a rework so what we got, is what we got, for now. my god, the female models are ugly. im hoping they will look less like potatoes by then... but im really bummed that the long haired witch hat girl with the model-worthy face in the cover art isnt actually possible to make. the only long hair, and for that matter, hair with some motion to it is the long braided one.

here is to hoping but also... why is everyone squat hobbit-looking po-ta-toe people? the guys look alright i suppose (im biased and dont really care) but the girls all look like oopa loopas. the legs... and the posture... it's like they were raised in a cave and based on the lore, that may have been the case, so props for realism... but maybe someone from a land with a large population should step outside and see what real humans look like. the in-bred narrow gene pool of a quaint village isnt representative enough of what a healthy adult male or female 'should' be. ..nor what id want my character to look like. thankfully, later on, we get gear to cover up all the ugly and some of those kits look spectacular. shame to put all that finery on a po-ta-toe.

Love the game... bought it for 4 friends... the servers have a nasty bug preventing them being visible... but that is an obvious planned fix as well. ... the temp fix worked for me and wasnt difficult to get around.

The Charakters Look okay. I Like the artstyle. It's different and suitable. For BOTH genders.

I would Like more hairs, colors andcstuff. But other than that, there is no need for Change.

I didn't care about the "model worthy face" b.s. but I was a little sad that the hair styles lacked a small amount of variety. For instance to me all of the ponytail hair styles look the same but that is about it.

I do hope that the character creation options improve. Maybe even a 'magic mirror' so that we can change appearances later in game would be appropriate.

Some games have hobbit as a playable race. This is one of them. Lol. I don't care so much what the characters look like as long as the game is good. And after playing Outward, these characters are gorgeous.

I agree with you mostly, they do look rather androgynous . They look more like the male avatars or trans or inbreeding.

im just upset the hair isnt actually available... i threw in that the avatar models 'look like po-ta-toes' jus for spite. lol.

...i love the game. now is the time to voice frustration over creative licence. if you wait till release to complain you deserve what you get haha.

the dev will be adding mroe features to most of everything that feels missing in the game including avatar updates and more options... im just poking fun while i still can.
