Honestly, the Halls are underground, completely. There is no reason at all that the daylight or time of day would have any effect, unless its somehow written in the lore. IMHO, the halls need to have their own light source. Bone chandeliers, sconces, glowy ecto walls. Maybe have empty, dark rooms that you have to light somehow. Dunno. But the Daylight relationship is a bit nuts.
"I Tab Out and watch YouTube"
You know you can sleep trough the night?
And we don't ask for daylight? What tf are you talking about?
Which I guess is ok in the Shroud.
But being blind elsewhere... People who are blind in real life would enjoy knowing that we are paying game devs to make us blind in a game.
I will be honest. There may very well be something that I am missing. The only sleeping that I have found is with a bed. I brought a campfire, but I can only cook. Unless a sleeping option was recently patched in, or there is a mechanic that I have overlooked. I've not tried accessing a campfire since I started the game near 200 hours ago.
As for the daylight. I am not certain why it gets dark at night in the halls. They are underground. It should be dark even in the daytime, as there is no way that light can enter through the mountains and walls/ceilings. Again, unless its somehow included in the lore of the world.
I didn't realize you where talking about the Halls, sorry.
When i go into the Dungeons it's always dark. It does not change, or i just don't notice it.
It's light, when there are canfles and stuff and dark when their are none.
So it's reasonable wanting a lihghtsource, i personally think.
Or they could us Put the torch in the offhand.
So or so, the whisplight could use a buff, in my Personal opinion.
For example: The halls, next to a beacon, with tables, chairs, etc, might give you a +15 comfort, but sleeping on the pallet might incur a penalty of 5, ergo, you only get a +10 resting bonus instead of the full 15. But it does allow you to pass the night quickly.
Maybe 2 types of campfires. Regular campfire takes 2 wood logs. Portable Campsite might take 2 wood logs, 6 twigs and 4 torn cloth, or something similar. This would be very handy to have out in the wild.
Sleeping out in the wild, without the safety of having shelter, could also run the risk of ambush encounters. Just a thought
