Boss didn't show up...

We went to the sun temple all the way down, and in the arena there was no boss. It's the one you need to level up your flame to 6. I know he's supposed to be there, I saw it on youtube. Should we just relog and try again or is something broken here?

that boss is prone to teleport himself into the walls sometimes. just reset the world and he should show up.

So I have had the opposite issue with the Sun Temple boss. If I leave after he spawns, either by dying or I'm not ready to tackle him yet and still have other clearing to do, or if I go to the Sun Temple just to get books, he will spawn double. I have seen two bosses spawned in there at least 4-5 times. You are more than welcome to have my extras. : P

You only need the head of one of them, the boss is necessary for the quest though, but that type of enemy is found in other locations, theres a one in a well somewhere in the wastes, you can upgrade the flame with his head.

So the next time we went there, the boss still didn't show up. We watched more videos and learned that it's a good idea to go to the right side of the arena. My husband fell into the hole with red lava and nobody was there. The third time I went alone, went to the right side and he was actually there. But then he was gone. Turned out he was stuck half way in the floor, still shooting at me. I killed him, he sank into the ground and there was no loot. The forth time. We went there both. My husband didn't fall into the red lava and the boss showed up. We finally managed to kill him and upgrade our flame. It might be a good idea for devs to give this sickle thrower some more love and persistance :)
