When you play Geforce Now, you're streaming the content.
If your internet is fast, the content will load tenfold faster.
If it does not, then your internet is slow.
"But my internet is not slow."
Then you are paying for highspeed internet and your provider is throttling your media.
Geforce now = streamed and long load times mentioned as to what you speak have to do with open ports, Transfer rates and if your ISP is throttling your connection.
Remember, these numbers what i'm about to mention are super important.
GeForce Now requires 5Mbps for 720p gaming at 60fps; 25Mbps for 1080p gaming at 60fps; 35Mbps for 1080p gaming at 240fps (or 2,560-by-1,440 gaming at 120fps); and 45Mbps for 4K gaming at 120fps
Meaning, if you're gaming at 4k 120FPS = 20.25 GB an hour. Your ISP can throttle this and deny it. It is their right.
You might be over your alotted data.
Issue is probably your ISP throttling that type of media 90% likely honestly.
The second one is your ports are closed.
(if it works for other games its your ISP throttling you, which they will deny.)
TL:DR? You're probably being throttled even if you aren't over your ISP's data cap.
You can show as having a super good connection to Geforce Now but likely your ISP is throttling your connection.
