But the quests don't have different choices, there is only one way to solve them.
The difference can be to chose another place for your main base, or to restore several destroyed villages in a world. Or you can play your game from start with different builds, like melee, archer, mage....
Or you can play one char in a solo world, and another one in a multiplayer world, in coop with a friend.
Sometimes I do my playthroughs like a roleplay, create a little background story for my character, and as well imagine a story for the life of my NPCs. (This exists only as an imagination in my mind. )
- When playing a coop game with a friend, it's not recommended ( at moment) to use the same char in your solo world, because the quest progress can be bugged and very confusing.
- There is a huge difference if you respec your max level char to try another playstyle, or if you start the new class / playstyle from beginning. Starting from scratch is a whole other experience than using an endgame char.
-Some players like to build huge bases in different locations, with different materials, archtecture and building styles, also they like to rebuild large existing settlements. But you can have only 8 altars, you won't be able to build so much in only one world.
So I always have to manually save the memory state beforehand and copy it back if necessary is of course cumbersome would rather have an extra slot for saving.
